Counseling is a sacred journey and I am honored to walk alongside every person who comes into my office. As an EMDR-trained trauma therapist in Rogers, Arkansas, I work with clients throughout Northwest Arkansas who are navigating betrayal, abuse, and the aftermath of trauma. Everyone has a unique story that no one has lived before. Walking through their story alongside the client is something I want to hold gently, especially for someone who has experienced trauma in their lives. I want every person who walks into my office to feel seen and heard and valued – and also to walk away with practical steps to put into place outside the counseling room.
Through practices like EMDR, clients see change within themselves from the time they enter to the time they leave. I want clients to feel the hope that change is not just possible, it is happening right now. When trauma or betrayal or a new fear have occurred, you often feel powerless to change. My job is to give that power back to my clients to change what is within their power and continue moving forward.
I believe all are worthy of care, presence, and hope.

A Bit More About Me
I always hoped I would one day be a counselor but it took a long, bumpy road to get to actually sitting with clients. My work comes out of my own trauma and having to be the client myself for many years before becoming a counselor.
I believe if we are not laughing as much as we are crying in the counseling room, then we are not doing our job correctly. Outside of the office, I am working to “practice what I preach” and finding my own ways to embrace self care while also being a business owner, wife, and mom of two busy boys.
Gardening flowers is one of my favorite things because it’s embracing beauty for the sake of beauty. I also love walking and yoga and being with people who fill my soul.
