Grow Counseling and Training Center Internship Program: Application & Expectations
Grow trains the next generation of counselors to the same standard we hold ourselves to. Interns get close supervision, real clinical experience, and a clear path toward independent practice.
COMMITMENT & EXPECTATIONS
- One-year commitment — fall or spring start
- Weekly individual supervision with a clinical supervisor
- Bi-weekly staff meetings — attendance required
- 100–250 observation hours with Grow’s clinical team, mostly in the first 3 months, with more available throughout
- In-person only — no remote/hybrid option
TRAINING Interns follow the same structured curriculum used to train Grow’s licensed staff — clinical skills, professional identity, and documentation. Responsibility increases gradually: observation → supervised sessions → independence.

ELIGIBILITY
- Enrolled in an accredited master’s program (local or online)
- Current malpractice insurance
- Interview required for all applicants
